On Thursday, January 22, 2015, surrounded by her loving family, Marlene passed away peacefully after a brief illness.
Marlene is survived by her children Barbara Bezeau (Guy), Cheryl Posten (Denis) and Neil Aitken (Barbara), her eleven adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers Russ, Don, Lee and sister Doris. Her loving husband Bill predeceased her in 2010.
Marlene’s healthy and active lifestyle ended abruptly but she lived a rich and beautiful life. We are so very fortunate she was part of our lives. Many thanks to her amazing friends for their kindness and support during her illness. A special thank you to Doris for her wonderful care.
A celebration of Marlene’s life will be held in Victoria at Royal Colwood Golf Club on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 3:00- 5:00 p.m.
We are very honoured to be part of this extended family. Such wonderful memories to carry us through. 3 weeks before Mom passed she had a dream she was at a Kehler Christmas… I can’t think of something more loving. We know Mom is with all her loved ones for an incredible reunion.
Our sincere “Thank You” to Marl’s kids for the loving care they provided Marlene before and after her major surgery. Marlene was never subjected to outside care as her children put their business and personal lives on hold to be by her side.
