Suddenly on Saturday, December 14, 2002 at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, George went to be with the Lord at the age of 81 years. He was predeceased by his much-beloved wife of 50 wonderful years Elisabeth (Betty) who passed away in 1997. George will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Opal and his three daughters, Jean, Sylvia and Connie and their families. Visitation will be held, Tuesday, December 17 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 18 at 2:00 p.m., at the Grace Mennonite Church, 430 Third St., Steinbach
