After a lengthy illness and gallant fight, Lila passed away July 26, 2002, surrounded by her loving family. On February 28, 2002, Helene Beischer Kehler left us to be with her Lord and Saviour and her beloved husband Henry, who predeceased her in 1980. Our mother was born and raised on a small farm in the Russell, MB, area. While working at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, she met and married the man she was devoted to for 33 years. Northern Manitoba was home for mom and dad as they raised their children on Manitoba Hydro projects and later settled in Steinbach in their retirement years. On Saturday June 2, 2001 Peter (Jim) Kehler of Mitchell, Manitoba went to be with his Lord at 60 years of age. Peacefully on Saturday, March 10, 2001, surrounded by her family, Lillian Kehler passed away at the Bethesda Hospital at the age of 82 years. It is with great sadness that our family announces the sudden passing on June 26, 2000 of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Helen (Blatz) Kehler, age 73 years of Steinbach, Man. It is with deepest sorrow that our family announces the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Jacob (Stoesz) Kehler, age 75 years of Steinbach, Manitoba. Jake is survived by his wife Helen of 52 years; one daughter Carol Penner (Jim) and two sons Murray (Joanne) and Wayne (Sandi) and their families.

Suddenly on March 6, 2000 Dan passed away in Brandon, Manitoba. He was predeceased by his mother, Rosemary and sister Darlene. Dan is survived by his three daughters, Crystal, Tammy and Bonnie; grandchildren, Breanna & Matthew; father, Frank; sister Bonnie; brothers, Jim, John and Steve and their families. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 13, at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with visitation one half hour prior to the service.
Peacefully, surrounded by his family our beloved husband, father and grandfather gently passed away into the arms of the Lord.
