Frieda Kehler, nee Goertz, passed away on July 31, 1999 at Riverview Health Centre, Winnipeg, MB. Frieda was born on February 16, 1909 to Peter and Marie (Unrau) Goertz in McPherson County, Kansas, USA. She was predeceased in death by husband Cornelius S Kehler  on March 27, 1968.

She is survived by her sons: Russell and wife Florence of White Rock, BC, Dennis and wife Yvonne of Belair, MB, Donald of Anchorage, Alaska, and Leland and wife Diane of Columbus, Ohio.  Her daughters: Marlene and husband Bill Aitken of Victoria, BC and Doris and husband Bill Janzen of Omaha, Nebraska. Suddenly on Monday, March 15, 1999, while vacationing in Florida with his wife and friends, Rev. Bill Hildebrandt, aged 62 years, of Steinbach, passed away in Stuart, Florida.

Besides his loving wife Helen, his memory will be cherished by son Mark, and daughters Denise and Karla, and their respective spouses, as well as two granddaughters Carey and Ashley.

Peacefully in her sleep, on Monday, October 21, 1996 at the Morris General Hospital, Marie Reimer, devoted wife of the late Rev. Peter J.B. Reimer passed away at the age of 95.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward, husband, father and papa on June 8, 1996 at the age of 48.

He was born and raised in the Steinbach area, where he spent the early years of his life working on the family farm. Ed move to Winnipeg in 1966 and it was here where he met his future wife Brenda. They married on June 8, 1968. During their 28 years of marriage they raised two sons and one daughter. Ed worked at K-Tel International for 22 years. Randy was born in Ste. Anne, Man. on December 4, 1974. He was a fun loving young boy and brought much joy to his family. He was always a small boy when he was young, and started falling down frequently. At first, we thought that he had a coordination problem. At age seven, randy was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy. This didn’t mean much to us at this time because we were ignorant to what this was. Randy found things frustrating at first but soon resigned himself to life that was to go through constant changes.Fortunately, about seven months before Randy was diagnosed, Christ became an integral part of our family. Thomas James Heinrichs was born on August 25, 1976 and died in a tragic traffic accident along with his dear cousin Rachel Kaylani Heinrichs and friend Michael Scott Cameron McCullough on August 23, 1994.

He leaves to mourn his parents, Jim and Marj Heinrichs; sisters, Jen, Kate and Sara and brother Bill of Rosenort; grandparents Syd & Helen Reimer of Rosenort, Dick and Phyllis Heinrichs of Morden plus a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She is survived by one son Harold and his wife Patricia of Landmark; daughter-in-law Lena Grunwald of Winnipeg; grandchildren, James, Mike Eileen, Linda and husband Craig, two great-grandchildren; one sister Elizabeth Giesbrecht of Winnipeg and her family. January 24, 1994 at 1pm, with her family at her side, our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Lizzie Dueck went to be with her Lord and Saviour after a lengthy battle with a blood disorder.

Lizzie was born in Halbstadt, now known as Shakespeare, September 8, 1915. She was the third of 11 children born to Aron and Elizabeth Kehler.

At the age of nine she moved with her family to Stuartburn where the family farmed and her father worked as a carpenter. At the early age of 11 years, she went to work as a child care worker and housekeeper and for the next few years worked for Rev.
