Clarence Gayhart Olson was born to his parents, Ole L. Olson and Ingeborg Hagen, on May 9, 1907 at Middle River, Minnesota.  His parents had emigrated from Norway some years ago, were married and settled down on a farm at Middle River. Clarence grew up as one of eight children, 4 boys and 4 girls. He attended school and graduated from the local high school as a bright student with a great future in this country of freedom and opportunity.

Mrs. Mary Isaac was born to Peter S and Katharina Kehler on the 28th day of November, 1925 in the Randolph district. She grew up and received her education in the Twin Creek School. She reached the age of 54 years, 7 months and 15 days.

On January 2, 1946 she joined in holy matrimony with Aaron Isaac. This union lasted 34 years, 6 months and 11 days, in which they shared the joys and sorrows of life.

March 16, 1980 at the St. Boniface General Hospital in Winnipeg, Henry H. Kehler aged 57 years, beloved husband of Helene of Steinbach, formerly of Gilliam, passed away to be with his Lord.

Suddenly October 2, 1978 at a hospital in Asuncion, Paraguay, Denis Kehler, age 42, of Colony Bergthal, Paraguay, formerly of Manitoba.

Funeral services were held October 4 in Colony Bergthal and a memorial service was held in the Steinbach Chortitzer Church on October 22, 1978.

Mr. Kehler, who was married to the former Helena Pries, is survived by his wife, three sons, three daughters.

On November 20, 1977 at the Grace Hospital, Joseph Grunwald, aged 75 years, beloved husband of Helen Grunwald of 867 Ebby Ave, Winnipeg, MB.

Marlene House, 42, passed away suddenly on December 7, 1975 in Austin, Minnesota as a result of a Cerebral Hemorrhage.

Marilyn (Marlene) Joyce Ratzlaff was born on December 18, 1932 to Herman and Anne Ratzlaff in Swift Current, SK. She married Neil Wayne House and together they raised three sons. Besides her husband Neil, she is survived by her three sons Neil, John and Steven. On January 12, 1975 at the Victoria Hospital, David Kehler, aged 52 years, beloved husband of Katie Kehler. Besides his wife, he is survived by five sons, Rodney and his wife Carol of Haney, BC, Raymond and his wife Martha, Donald, Barry and Norman, all of Winnipeg, one grandson Ryan.

Jacob H Kehler (1912-1972)

Following a short illness, Jacob Kehler of Red Lake, ON passed away at the age of 60 years on Tuesday August 29, 1972 at the Red Lake Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Kehler was born at Halbstadt, MB and was educated there. He lived in Manitoba until 1957 when he moved to Red Lake, ON. He was married at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Friedensfeld in 1939 and was a member of the Red Lake Chamber of Commerce and the Red Lake Credit Union.
