Ernest (Ernie) Stoesz Kehler, 67, passed away at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC on Sunday, October 13, 2013, after a battle with cancer.

He is survived by one daughter, one son, three grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers. He was predeceased by his parents David S. and Helen Kehler and five brothers.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 2pm, at the Pat Porter Active Living Centre (Steinbach 55Plus), 10 Chrysler Gate, Steinbach, MB. A casual “Time of Remembrance” for family and friends of Alesha Henley, 39, of Davis will be held Sunday, Sept. 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the fellowship hall of First United Methodist Church in Davis. A private committal service at Green Hill Cemetery is planned for Thursday, Sept. 25.

Mrs. Henley was born Nov. 11, 1973, in Warner Robins, Ga., to Richard and Sharon (Ratzlaff) Chadwick and died after a two-year battle with cancer on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, at Ardmore. Eva Schellenberg (nee Kehler), 78, of Steinbach, passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 at the Bethesda Hospital. Eva leaves to cherish her memory five children: Lorraine (Charles Koop), Bob (Sylvia), Helen (Bill Briggs), Joan (Norman Poetker), and Tina (Andy Goossen) as well as fifteen grandchildren and their spouses and fourteen great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Jacob W. It is with great sorrow that our family announces the passing of Dennis Leroy Kehler, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather on February 14, 2013, at the age of 81, with his wife Yvonne and family members at his side. Dennis was born in Carnduff, Saskatchewan on September 22, 1931 to Cornelius and Frieda Kehler. He grew up in Steinbach, Manitoba where he learned to always work hard for the things you want and that being true to your values are the most important traits that a person should possess. With heavy hearts the family would like to announce the passing of Marge Kehler, beloved wife of Ken, at Concordia Hospital on January 21, 2013 at the age of 71.

Marge was predeceased by her mother. She will be lovingly remembered by her loving husband Ken, four children Ron (Carole), Brad (Lois), Rick (Jocelyn) and their children Curtis (Jody), Michelle (Kevin), Brian and Stephanie, Charlene (Wes) and their children Rod (Leslie), Danny and Vanessa and great grandchild Ethan. Neil (Cornelius) Kehler passed away Monday, November 12, 2012 at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach at the age of 83.

Neil is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Agnes. They were married in Randolph on July 31, 1955. Neil is lovingly remembered by his son Tim (Jackie) and daughter Sally (Gilles) and grandchildren Travis, Erin and Dana.

Ronald Benjamin Kehler passed away peacefully,  September 1, 2012, at Beacon Hill Lodge in Winnipeg. Ron leaves behind his beloved wife Helga; his daughter Joyce Kirsch, son-in-law Brad and grandchildren Tanner and Kaylee; his son Todd Kehler-Yokobori, his daughter-in-law Tomoko, and grandson Ren.

An angel in the book of life wrote down our baby’s birth. And whispered as she closed the book, ” too beautiful for earth.”

It is with great sadness we announce the passing our baby boy, Callum Richard Montgomery who died the day he was born on November 29th 2011.

On November 17, 2011 Leonard George Unger passed away peacefully with his family by his side, at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach. Leonard was born April 4, 1928 to Jacob and Aganetha Unger of Steinbach.

On April 6, 2011, Joan Doreen Reimer, nee Frederick, beloved wife of Al Reimer, passed away peacefully at the Grace General Hospital. She was in her 81st year. Joan was born on May 18, 1930 and raised in Pine Falls, Manitoba, the oldest of three siblings, and began her working career there in the office of the Abitibi Paper Mill.

In 1951, Joan married Elmer E (Al) Reimer, who came from Steinbach, Manitoba, and together they raised three children.
