It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of their mother Helen Unger, on Monday February 17, 2020 at the Bethesda Place Personal Care Home.
Helen was predeceased by her husband Leonard in 2011. Her parents Reverend Peter S and Katharina Kehler, five brothers; Jacob (stillborn), Andy, Henry, Peter, and Willie, two sisters; Mary Isaac and Eva Schellenberg, brothers-in-law Aaron Isaac, Cornelius Peters, Jake Schellenberg, and sister-in-law Tina Kehler.
Helen will be remembered by her son Peter (Carla), daughter Pat (Leo) Schmidt, sisters, Nettie Peters, Anne (Jake) Doerksen, Tina (Bill) Bergen, Frieda (Ed) Neufeld, sisters-in-law Matilda Kehler, Helen Kehler, Sara Isaac, Norma (Harry) Kehler.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at the Mitchell Gospel Church, with viewing one hour prior to the service.
Interment to follow in the Rosengard Cemetery followed by a reception in the church reception area.
The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff at the Bethesda Place Personal Care Home for the exceptional care given during her stay.
