Stephen William Cartmel, of Ladysmith, BC, was born on July 8, 1982 in Nanaimo, British Columbia and passed away unexpectedly on July 23, 202 at the age of 39 years. Deeply loved and missed by his mother Barbara Aitken; father James Cartmel; siblings Lauren, Carly, Simone and Tai; Aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. We will miss his contagious laughter and light that would fill a room. Anyone who knew Stephen knew that was he was a DJ and Chef by passion, serious foodie and devoted Pomeranian dad. Stephen lived a full and vibrant life with more friends than you could count. Stephen, for the rest of our lives, we will constantly keep looking for moments filled with memories of you.
