Eva Kehler passed away peacefully on Friday, October 4, 2024, surrounded by her family at Resthaven in Steinbach, MB.

She is survived by 2 daughters, 4 sons, and their families. She was predeceased by her 1st husband Peter ST. Kehler and her 2nd husband Neil Peters.

The funeral service for Eva Kehler will be held Saturday, October 12th at 2pm at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with burial at Heritage Cemetery. Viewing will be at the chapel prior to the service.

Sadly we are announcing that on Sunday, September 22, 2024, our father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, Reuben Wellington Kehler, left us to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 88. Dad passed away peacefully with his entire family supporting him as he was waiting to be reunited with his wife Tina, whom he longed for daily. It is with profound sadness that we the family share the untimely departure of Russell Kenneth Plett, affectionately known as Ken, on June 8, 2024, at the age of 66. It has left a deep void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Ken was born on February 20, 1958, at the Misericordia Hospital in Winnipeg, MB. At the age of two, the perfect match was made when he was adopted and joined the Plett family in Riverton, MB. The family announce the peaceful passing of Elizabeth (Betty) Friesen, nee Kehler, age 90 on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at the Rest Haven Care Home.

Betty was born to Henry S. and Agatha (nee Peters) Kehler on December 1, 1933, at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, Manitoba.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather at the age of 82 at Bethesda Regional Health Center.

He is survived by his loving wife Joyce of 57 years; children Doyle (Raquel), Brent, Candace (Jamie); grandchildren Myles, Sienna (Rob), Rio, Noah, Tatianna, Ryder, Samuel, and Spencer; great grandchildren Phaetyn, Ivory and Wilder. Peyton Kehler had long wanted to host a basketball camp for teenaged girls: “There’s not enough female coaches out there that can lead by example for them.”
