Saturday, November 7, 1992 at his residence, Peter H Doerksen, age 70 years, beloved husband of Violet, Steinbach, passed away.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2pm at the Chortitzer Mennonite Church, 479 Hanover St., Steinbach with Pastors Richard Martens and Cornelius G. Peters officiating. Interment will follow in the Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach. Viewing will take place at the chapel Tuesday between 7 and 8 pm and at the church prior to the service.

Peacefully Sunday morning, April 28, 1991 at the Steinbach Rest Haven, Annie Kehler, aged 90 years, of Steinbach passed away.

Born to Henry and Helen Wieler of Clearspring, March 23, 1901, Mother attended the Steinbach School. In 1920 Mother was baptized in the CMC Church and in 1921 married John S. Kehler. They shared 40 years of joys and sorrows. Mother and Dad lived in southeast Saskatchewan until 1930 at which time they moved to Steinbach where Dad started his own business in which Mother was a great help. March 16, 1980 at the St. Boniface General Hospital in Winnipeg, Henry H. Kehler aged 57 years, beloved husband of Helene of Steinbach, formerly of Gilliam, passed away to be with his Lord.

Johann Schultz Kehler (1894-1962)

Johann Schultz Kehler: self-taught veterinarian; born on 5 May 1894 in Steinbach, Manitoba, to Jakob K. “Berliner” and Elizabeth H. (Schutz) Kehler. He was the sixth of 13 children in the family. Johann was baptized on 21 May 1918 in Chortitz, Manitoba. On 20 November 1921, he married Anna U. Wieler (1901-1991). The couple had 11 children, one of whom died young.

Edna Elizabeth Kehler (1925 – 1933)

Edna Elizabeth Kehler, beloved daughter of Johann S & Annie Kehler, born January 5, 1925 in Frobisher, Saskatchewan, passed away on August 22, 1933 in Steinbach, Manitoba.

Edna was predeceased by her Grandfather Jacob K Kehler and Grandmother Helena Unger Wieler. Besides her parents,  Johann S & Annie Kehler, she is also survived by her sister Violet, and brothers Henry, Walter, John and Glen.

Funeral services were held in the Steinbach Kliene Geminde (EMC) Church . Burial,  at the Steinbach Pioneer Cemetery
