John Hiebert Kehler (1917-2000)

Peacefully, surrounded by his family our beloved husband, father and grandfather gently passed away into the arms of the Lord. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 57 years, Annie Kehler; his children, Marlene (Reg) Reimer, Roy (Pamela) Kehler, Diane (Roy) Penner, Bob (Jo-Anne) Kehler and grandchildren, Gina and Mark (Sharon) Reimer, Jacqueline and Jordan Kehler, Todd and Carlee Penner and Lonnie Kehler. John is survived by his sisters, Kelly Larson and Mary Daniel and his brothers, George, Ben (Lila), Dave (Irene) and Ernie (Eva). Wilhelm Funk Hildebrandt (1936-1999)

Suddenly on Monday, March 15, 1999, while vacationing in Florida with his wife and friends, Rev. Bill Hildebrandt, aged 62 years, of Steinbach, passed away in Stuart, Florida.

Besides his loving wife Helen, his memory will be cherished by son Mark, and daughters Denise and Karla, and their respective spouses, as well as two granddaughters Carey and Ashley.

Aaron Jacob Voth Isaac (1924–1995)

Thursday, February 16, 1995 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Aaron Jacob Isaac, aged 70 years, beloved husband of Sara of Grunthal, passed away.

Besides his loving wife Sara, he leave to cherish her children: Dave and Betty Fehr, Eric and Ange Klippenstein, Frank and Luella Fehr, Garry and Sara Harder, Ernie and Judy Bueckert, Sheila Fehr, Melanie Fehr; 10 grandchildren; two brothers: Abe and Pete of Mississauga, ON; numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.He was predeceased by his first wife Mary in 1980, step-daughter Eva Klippenstein in 1985. Elizabeth (Lizzie) Kehler Dueck(1915-1994)

January 24, 1994 at 1pm, with her family at her side, our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Lizzie Dueck went to be with her Lord and Saviour after a lengthy battle with a blood disorder.

Lizzie was born in Halbstadt, now known as Shakespeare, September 8, 1915. She was the third of 11 children born to Aron and Elizabeth Kehler.

At the age of nine she moved with her family to Stuartburn where the family farmed and her father worked as a carpenter. At the early age of 11 years, she went to work as a child care worker and housekeeper and for the next few years worked for Rev. Peter Hiebert Doerksen (1922-1992)

Saturday, November 7, 1992 at his residence, Peter H Doerksen, age 70 years, beloved husband of Violet, Steinbach, passed away.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2pm at the Chortitzer Mennonite Church, 479 Hanover St., Steinbach with Pastors Richard Martens and Cornelius G. Peters officiating. Interment will follow in the Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach. Viewing will take place at the chapel Tuesday between 7 and 8 pm and at the church prior to the service.

Katharina Blatz Kehler (1900-1991)

Monday, October 21, 1991 at the Rest Haven Nursing Home, Steinbach, Mrs. Katherina Kehler, aged 91 years, of Steinbach.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 24, 2pm from the Chortitzer Mennonite Church in Steinbach with Rev. Bill Hildebrandt and Rev. Stan Kehler officiating. Interment will follow in the Steinbach Memorial Cemetery. Friends may pay their last respects at Loewen Funeral Chapel Wednesday from 7-8 pm, and at the church prior to the service. Annie Wieler Kehler (1901-1991)

Peacefully Sunday morning, April 28, 1991 at the Steinbach Rest Haven, Annie Kehler, aged 90 years, of Steinbach passed away.

Born to Henry and Helen Wieler of Clearspring, March 23, 1901, Mother attended the Steinbach School. In 1920 Mother was baptized in the CMC Church and in 1921 married John S. Kehler. They shared 40 years of joys and sorrows. Mother and Dad lived in southeast Saskatchewan until 1930 at which time they moved to Steinbach where Dad started his own business in which Mother was a great help. Jason Shaun Giesbrecht (1970-1990)

Jason was born on May 10, 1970 to Debbie (nee Dueck) and Ben Giesbrecht at the Steinbach Bethesda Hospital. He was educated in Steinbach and graduated in 1988.

Jason was baptized upon confession of his faith on June 28, 1987. The following is his testimony at the time of his application for baptism:

“As many people around here know, I have grown up in a Christian home; so, have not found it hard to follow the Lord. I became a Christian at an early age of eight one day after DVBS. Katharina Wieler Kehler Stoesz (1893-1989)

Katharina Stoesz was born May 27, 1893 at Chortitz (Randolph), Manitoba. Her parents were Henry P and Helen Wieler.

She passed away Tuesday, August 1, at 6:45 pm at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Steinbach. She reached the age of 96 years, two months and 5 days.

She was baptized in the Chortitzer Church where she stayed a member with a very strong faith.

Helena Stoesz Kehler (1901-1988)

On July 12, 1988 at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, Mrs. Helena Kehler, aged 87 years, of Steinbach, MB.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 18 at 2pm from the Chortitzer Mennonite Church in Steinbach with Rev. Bill Hildebrandt and Rev. H.K. Schellenberg officiating.
