Jake Dyck (1953-2022)

Jake was born in Steinbach, Manitoba, in 1953 and passed away surrounded by family at Health Sciences Centre in November 21, 2022 at the age of 69.

Jake leaves behind his beloved wife of 44 years Dianne, his daughter Kassie (Nathan), sisters Helene and Anne (Don), in-laws Myrna (Ray), Andy (Paula), Barb (Ken), Lorna (Gord), Edna (Sjoerd), Richard, nieces and nephews Lisa (Dan), Leilani (Tom), Leighton (Jenna), Natasha (Jeremy), Josh, Jackie (Randy), Cara (Ken), Barry (Jodie), Andrea (Greg), Leia (Mike), Robby (Tracey), AJ, Sydney (Patrick), Mikhail, Anastasia (Brad), Victoria, Ilse (Chris), Nicolas, Eric, as well as many grand-nieces and nephews. Tyler Jordan Dyck (1985 – 2009)

It is with great sadness that the family of Tyler Jordan Dyck, age 24, of Steinbach, Manitoba announces his sudden passing at their home in Steinbach, on Sunday October 4, 2009.

Besides his parents Jake and Dianne Dyck, he is survived by his sister Kassandra and her friend Nathan Klassen. He is also survived by his very special friend Sabrina Amador.

He is further survived by his paternal grandfather Jacob A. Dyck and by his maternal grandparents Bill and Tina Kehler, all of Steinbach; and by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Continue reading “Tyler Jordan Dyck (1985 – 2009)”

Edgar Stoesz Kehler (1935-2006)

Peacefully, after a long illness, our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Edgar Kehler passed away on February 17, 2006 at Bethesda Hospital.He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Helen; children, Terry (Jacqueline), Tim and Chris (Charis); and grandchildren, Cassandra, Julian, Hunter and Ty. He is also survived by his sisters, Mary (Ike) Giesbrecht of Winnipeg, Betty (Gus) Dueck of Mitchell and Helen Hildebrandt of Steinbach; his brothers, Stan (Mary) of Mitchell, Ben (Martha) of Steinbach, Pete (Eva) of Steinbach, and Ernie of Calgary as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
